The TuoTown budget knife line combines the charisma and practicality typical of fixed-blade models. Every knife in this series has its own distinct character.
Unique Handle Materials
One of the key highlights of this line is the use of an exclusive handle material – a blend of G‑10 and genuine carbon fibre. During manufacturing, G‑10 is bonded with carbon, creating a material that, after special finishing, looks and feels like real carbon but comes at a fraction of the cost.
High‑Quality Blades
The blades are crafted from T10S steel – an equivalent to Japanese VG‑10, a high‑carbon, corrosion‑resistant steel. Thanks to our vacuum heat treatment and cryogenic processing, we achieve a hardness of 60–61 HRC while preserving toughness, ensuring long‑lasting edge retention.
Finishing Technologies
The entire folding knife line is available in two blade finish options.
The first is a Beadblast finish (light blade) – a unique shot‑blasting process for metal surfaces. In this process, the metal is subjected to a stream of microscopic glass beads that bombard its surface with high precision and uniformity. This not only significantly strengthens the outer layers of the metal but also imparts an exceptionally pleasant velvety texture that reduces light reflection – a valuable trait for use in various lighting conditions.
The second colour option available in our line is a combination of PVD coating and stonewash treatment (dark blades). PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is a high‑tech method that perfectly balances aesthetics and functionality. This coating not only gives the knife an appealing look but also greatly enhances resistance to wear and corrosion. The stonewash finish, in turn, creates a worn‑in effect that lends each knife a unique character while concealing minor scratches, making it more practical for daily use.
As a result, thanks to the variety of colour choices and high‑quality finishes, everyone can find the ideal knife that matches their personal taste and needs.
Premium Materials in a Budget Line
In this budget series, we also employ materials typically found in premium products – such as titanium for pocket clips and backspacers – adding extra value and durability to the knives.
